Are class butterfliyes are all reddy out of the cucon.are butterflies are doing very well they have hatch and they are very beatiful.there is 1 cucun that has not hatched.most of the cucon have hatch.
all of our butterflies our out of their ca coons and are fling around in the little net.i wish we can let them out to fly around the classroom and then people wont have to push each other to see them. then all of us will be happy. the only thing is we will have to keep the door closed so they can not get out of the classroom and fly around the school.they will keep us quiet.if we shout then we will scare the butterflies and they might die.i do not want that to happen.
the butterflies are the coolest things ever they have dye on the side of the place they are in and its red so it looks like blood but it is dye from the wings or body i think it i very interesting that we could actually have real life butterflies in are classroom if the flew around are class that will be the sweetest thing just to have them flying around are head.
Thank you Y4, I'm glad you have enjoyed watching the butterflies and learning so much about them. You have looked after them really well. I hope you manage to take a photo of them when you release them this week.
4AS had butterflies that were orange, black and white.3 came out of their cacoons and there were only 2 left.when they hatched we let them get rid of the dye(which children thought was blood)and then let them get used to teir ings for 3 weeks. When we let the go 3 came outbut 2 didn't.Then 1 came out.1 was left and Miss Still thought it had died. Then tawlad tapped the cage gently and then it flew away.Annalisa started crying because she was going to miss the butterflies being in our classroom.Miss Fitzpatrick please let us have more butterflies again.
I remember raising my butterflies in year 4. It was wonderful to see them grow and then finally hatch out of there cacoons. I remember Miss Araguz filming all of them hatch. It took about 4 hous in total but Miss Araguz fast forwarded it. It was fantastic and amazing you hear about the life cycle but you never see it happen realy. Do you?
