The least powerful chess piece is a very difficult question to answer. The pawn, on its own, is very weak but if it crowns becomes a queen. Knights at the end of the game generally aren't as powerful as Bishops. Rooks are very powerful in the end game; not much so at the beginning.
In conclusion, I would say a pawn but there are lots of times when a pawn could save you from losing!
hard question . we think it is the pawn but when they get to the end of the board it can change into a Powerful queen.
a Question to ask people:
what is the best why of opening your chess games?
The King
it's hard to say because picecs are devleping all the time.
questoin what is the least but sometimes powerful piece ?
I think the knight it is worth 3 points but you can't keep it for too long because it will ge taken you have to think hard to keep your knight.
i actually think the least powerful piece is the king because it can move 1 space at a time.On the other hand if it castles it moves 2 or 3 spaces.
The least powerful piece has got to be the pawn because it can only move one square but Mr Long is right because sometimes it can safe you from losing.
The pawn would be the weakest because anny peise can take it anny time.
